New development multiway tray

In anticipation of the European PPWR legislation, we are pleased to show you our latest development!!

According to the most widely followed interpretation of this legislation, it will become mandatory in many cases to reuse plastic transport packaging within the EU by 2030. For internal transport within a single country or company, there is even an obligation for complete reuse; in other cases, at least 40% of the trays must be reusable.

Our first step in this direction is a 400×280 multi-way tray. Made of durable polypropylene and available in any desired color. It is possible to produce the tray in your company color, which makes recognition and returns much easier. Additionally, there is the option to use 100% recycled material. The tray features a 13mm overflow and handles on the short side for easy handling.

The smart design is lightweight, making it surprisingly economical to purchase and use. We would be happy to provide a customized calculation for you. Under normal use, the tray is suitable for a large number of rotations, resulting in a significant reduction in costs per rotation. In this way, you can increase sustainability without major cost increases.

The tray is suitable for 12x 9cm/9.5cm, 8x 10cm/10.5cm/11cm, and 6x 11cm/12cm/13cm. This offers wide applicability and, consequently, high efficiency.

We believe we have found a suitable answer to the changing legislation with this. Are you curious about the possibilities for your situation? Feel free to contact us!!

Compostable plastics: M-plastics customers are the first to know
Developments in the field of compostable plastics are very interesting, both technically and economically. For professional horticulture, carrier and growing trays made of compostable plastics have significant advantages in terms of waste processing, ease of labor, and sustainability. They are primarily a sustainable and effective solution for trays that are contaminated with organic material after use – and can therefore no longer be cleaned or recycled.
